Stop Waiting for Someone to Treat You

Look, I love my husband, like I really love that man. But let me tell y’all he is not the most romantic person. He will do anything for me, but he’s more of an acts of service type of guy and, I’ll take it, cause I have lots of servicing that needs done lol. But you know what else I’ll take, a day to spoil myself.

Listen, I think a lot of women feel angry because they don’t have a partner planning things for them. And don’t get me wrong, they should, it’s even more special, but what I’m saying is, don’t always wait on someone to plan the date, or take you to dinner or plan a weekend getaway.

If you want to do something, then do it!

It’s not just your partner’s job to take care of you, it’s up to you too, sis!

You deserve time to do whatever is that YOU want to do.

Maybe you were raised to think that you shouldn’t make a fuss about yourself, that you should put yourself last, be quiet, and take up as little space as you can. Don’t draw too much attention to yourself and definitely don’t take the time to fulfill our own wants and desires. Well f$&# all of that.

Make a fuss!! Book that photoshoot or that trip, buy that bag you’ve been eyeing.

Because no one knows what you want like you do!
