What Sugar Mamas Movement Isn’t

Hey Beauties!

Maybe you want to know what the Sugar Mamas Membership is about, but more importantly, what I want you to know is what we aren’t.

For the past two years my heart has craved being in and building circles of women that want nothing but to support one another. Not competition, not jealousy, a real genuine desire to see other women succeed, it’s been my passion, and now I am getting to live out my dreams. What’s been a little disheartening along the way is a lot of people’s misunderstanding of what Sugar Mamas is about. 

So, I want to use this platform to clear up a few misconceptions. The support and empowerment of women we seek so strongly to facilitate does not mean we are:

• Men bashers, we love good men that support our dreams. I love my husband and could not accomplish everything I do without him.
• Just another stale networking group full of older white men in suits. Yes, there will potentially be other people in your industry, if you’re into collaborating you might just learn something from them, no you don’t have to report referrals, stand up and tell your business pitch every week, or pass out business cards. Yes, you can be vulnerable, if that means a few tears we aren’t afraid of that!
• We are not all the same, we won’t be at the same levels or demographics in our career, income, religion, race or sexual preference. Frankly, I don’t give a damn. If you want to grow and learn, and be inspired and encouraged, then come on girl, there is room for you at the table! We all have something for each other.
• We are not the magic pill for your business or career. We will support the hell out of you and go hard for you but come with that same energy for yourself, instead of excuses! You have to be the first one to show up for yourself.
• We are not complacent, we got shit to achieve here on the earth. This isn’t just a social club either. Come ready to move on those dreams you have!
• We are not letting fear hold us back from reaching our goals. We are dreamwakers, ready to be terrified to do something and still do it? We are here for those MOVES!
