You may have seen or even attended the fabulous party that Ally Cain Mortgage Team and American Moving and Hauling (AKA Ally & Amy) threw for all of our valuable referral partners! It was a blast! But I don’t want to talk about that part. I want to talk about the decision Ally & I made to collaborate on this party. 

First, we are in complimentary industries- but we both help people get into their new homes! We have a similar referral base, but not all the same folks. We are both hardworking, go-getters with the same values in business and life. The alignment is undeniable. In collaborating with this event, we were not only able to alleviate the sole cost, but we were also able to pool our referral bases together, granting each other new networking opportunities and visibility to an audience we may not have had individually. 

We also shared labor in the planning and execution of the event, as both our teams worked seamlessly to create an incredible evening. 

In addition, we curated sponsorship opportunities for other businesses to market to their ideal client base, also increasing their visibility and providing networking opportunities. The sponsors we partnered with were also in industries that created amazing resources for our referral partners. This was all intentional.

Are you in business? Have you not yet tapped into the amazing power of collaboration? Be intentional, look for ways to partner with others that will be mutually beneficial for both parties!
